‘Don’t Drink and Drive’, OOH Media urges revelers

With festivities reaching the annual crescendo, there is a free flow of joyful spirits and spirits of the Bacchus kind. In a bid to promote responsible drinking, Out Of Home Media India has embarked on its CSR campaign with the message ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’. The campaign, which got underway on December 22, will run for two weeks under the aegis of OOH Cares, the on-screen property of OOH Media dedicated to creating public service messages.

OOH Media has roped in some celebrities like Konkona Sen, Praveen Dabas, Sanjay Suri, and Manoj Bajpai to urge people not to drink and drive, party responsibly and reach home safe. The celebrities used are young and connect to the cause as they have been in the news for their films or social awareness.

Ashutosh Parekh, National Content Head, OOH Media, explained, “From a content point of view, celebrities add a dazzle to the screen, build in the OOH factor to the message that we want to propagate and are in sync with the festive season and all that comes with it.”

“The main objective of the campaign is to connect with people on socially relevant issues, especially now that the party season is in full swing. We are targeting the younger crowd who love to party,” he added.
