Playwin Sikkim Super Lotto on new high with Rs 8.61 core jackpot<br>Daily online lottery from August 15

The Rs 8.61 crore jackpot has been won by Vimal Gajner of Sikkim. The Super Lotto since it commenced its operation on March 5, has offered four jackpots. The other three jackpots were of Rs 5.20 crore, Rs 3.49 crore and Rs 2 crore.

Super Lotto has proved to be a bonanza not only for the lottery freaks but also for the Sikkim Government and Playwin Infravest Private Limited promoted by Rs 4500 crore Essel Group of companies. Sikkim Government, according to the State Chief Minister, Pawan Chamling, has earned Rs 15 crore of revenue from Super Lotto. Playwin revenue according to its CEO Sanjay Das has touched Rs 100 crore mark. Out of the total revenue 45% is towards prizes, 20% goes to the Sikkim Government, while the balance is towards costs and margins.

At the time of the first draw on March 29th, there were a total of 30 lakhs bets which have gone up to 1 crore by the 16th draw. Buoyed by the massive response, Playwin have introduced a new lottery game, Sikkim Thunderball. The new game based on internationally successful Thunderball format has eight combinations and prize levels, ensuring greater chances of winning and a larger poll of prizes for the winners.

To enhance the gaming experience, Playwin have gone in for a change in the prizing/gaming format of Super Lotto Lottery. The minimum guaranteed jackpot is of Rs 1crore that keeps growing as more games are played through the week. The new format according to Sanjay Yash Raj, Vice President Marketing of Playwin , the prize money taken home by the match five players has been raised from an average of Rs 50 thousand to Rs 75 thousand. The new format also ensures a fixed match four and three prize.

From August 15 Playwin is launching lucky three, the daily online lottery promoted by Karnataka Government. The lottery player has to choose from three numbers. There is also an option of betting Rs 10, 20, 50 or 100. The prize will be the multiple of 450 depending on the bet money. The maximum price money on offer will be Rs 45,000/-

Meanwhile the Infravest is also making hectic preparations for launching a new online game promoted by Maharashtra government. The company is also waiting for official directive from Rajasthan government on introduction of lottery from the state before launching online lottery game promoted by the Rajasthan government.
