Real, the new Hindi entertainment channel from Real Global Broadcasting, would be launched on Monday, March 2, 2009. The channel can be down linked from IntelSat-10, 68.5 Degree East, and will be a digitally encrypted pay channel. Being a 50:50 joint venture between Alva Brothers Entertainment and Turner International, Real will be part of the Zee Turner bouquet and will be available across the country on cable systems and digital platforms.

The channel is beginning with programmes such as âPoker Faceâ, which would be aired Monday to Sunday at 8 pm; âVicky Ki Taxiâ, a weekly drama that would be aired every Friday at 9 pm; âHindi Hai Humâ on Monday to Thursday at the 9 pm slot; and âSarkaar Ki Duniyaâ on Monday to Friday at the 10 pm slot.
