Uday Sodhi, former CEO of Balaji Telefilm’s New Media Business, has joined HeadHonchos.com, a senior level job seeking website, as CEO. At Balaji Telefilms, Sodhi was responsible for building a value chain for the company’s mobile and Internet business.

Panelists discussed the ways to grab and retain audience attention and what kind of content will help achieve this objective.
Star One has chalked out some aggressive plans to beef up its programming. The channel is planning to go six days a week with all its shows by November 20, 2010. This apart, the channel has also lined up four new shows. Launched in 2004, not much action had been seen on the Star One front in the past couple of years.

Balaji Telefilms Ltd announced its unaudited financial results on January 15, 2010. The company has posted an operating loss of Rs 29.06 million for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009. The operating loss for the quarter reduced by 37 per cent as compared to Q2 FY10.
