Creativeland Asia brought on board legendary ad film director Prahlad Kakkar as Creative Mentor for the Group. Kakkar’s mandate includes creating training modules for creative teams across all levels and develop stronger story-telling, script-writing and film making capabilities internally. He will be involved in strategic marketing communications projects as well. Kakkar will also play an active role in the content division Creativeland Pictures.

The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and Association of Radio Operators for India (AROI) have signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote advertising business on the radio medium and develop and implement a credit control and collection mechanism with standard operating procedures to ensure best credit terms and timely collections.

sony-india_1134.html">Sony India has announced the appointment of Sunil Nayyar as its new Managing Director.The appointment will be with effect from April 1, 2018. The change of guard marks a historic milestone, with Nayyar being the first Indian to be appointed as Managing Director for Sony India.

At Mindshare, Amrita Randhawa is promoted to Asia Pacific CEO. Randhawa, who was previously the CEO for Mindshare Greater China will remain based in Shanghai, where she will continue to manage Mindshare China as its Executive Chairperson, in addition to her overall Asia Pacific duties.
Prasanth Kumar (PK) is promoted to the position of CEO for MENA and Africa in addition to his current role as the CEO for South Asia.

Exchange4media on Wednesday celebrated the eighth edition of NEONS Awards for outdoor advertising and digital signage. Kinetic India was the big winner of the night, gaining 7 Gold and 3 Silver medals for a total tally of 10 medals. Backed by this strong performance, the agency also took home the OOH Media Agency of the Year award. Also, Suresh Balakrishna, CEO, South Asia and Middle East, Kinetic Advertising India Private Limited, was honoured as the OOH Person of the Year. Sunder Hemrajani won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Nadia Chauhan, Joint Managing Director & Chief Marketing Officer, Parle Agro, has topped IMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women in Media, Marketing and Advertising List, 2018 owing to her contribution in contemporising Parle Agro products and moving them towards market leadership. Chauhan’s marketing acumen has led to the brand taking on faces like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and recently Salman Khan as brand ambassadors.
