We put the Spotlight on how Digital advertising is changing as rapidly as it is growing. The industry currently contributes only around 15 per cent to the total Advertising Industry in India and this is expected to reach 24 per cent of the entire market by 2020, according to the Dentsu Aegis Network-exchange4media Digital Report 2018. KOOV’S won the gold in the Best Advertising in a Digital Magazine (Media) category for the launch of KOOVS ‘Princess Collection’ at the second Magzimise Awards held in Gurugram on Monday. Other big winners were Taj Hotels, Hidesign and Raymond. The DAN-e4m Digital report 2018 was unveiled, which said Digital Advertising Will Grow At A CAGR Of 32 Per Cent Till 2020 To Reach INR 18,986 Cr. The Indian Premier league (IPL) seems to be getting more and more premium with every passing year. If industry sources are to be believed, Star India, which earned the telecast and digital rights of the event after an ambitious bid, has already started asking for handsome rates from the advertisers for its sponsorship. The broadcaster is believed to have raised the stakes further by asking for a whopping Rs. 150 cr as the price to be a co-presenting sponsor of the game. Ever since Star India bagged the Indian Premier League (IPL) media rights last year, it has been making big investments to drive this sporting platform to its next level. As part of this re-imagined approach Star India will broadcast live matches in six different languages with an aim to target 700 million viewers across TV and Digital. IRS 2017 was released after a gap of four years and the survey announced that Dainik Jagran is most read newspaper in India with ToI being named the top English newspaper.
