The first week of 2018 was full of industry happenings and movements. McCann Worldgroup India won Effie India Agency Of The Year while O&M India bagged the Grand Effie on January 5. In other big news, Dentsu Aegis Network has bagged the consolidated digital mandate for FMCG major ITC. The mandate is said to be in the region of Rs 60 crores and includes search engine, social media, digital creatives and all other verticals. This week, we also threw a spotlight on  Viacom 18, COO Raj Nayak, completing a silver jubilee in the television industry.
The industry has already geared up for IPL 2018. RCB has retained Virat Kohli For Rs 17 crore while MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma were retained For Rs 15 Cr. In a major media movement, Paritosh Srivastava was appointed COO of Publicis Beehive.
