Radio Mantra 91.9 FM to be launched in Gorakhpur on Sunday

Radio Mantra 91.9 FM will hit the airwaves in Gorakhpur on Sunday, June 3, 2007. Radio Mantra has been promoted by Shri Puran Multimedia Limited, a Jagran Group company. This would be the first FM radio station in Gorakhpur. The station would be launched after ten days of dry run.

Rahul Gupta, Director, Radio Mantra, said, “In the last two months, we have launched Radio Mantra in Hisar, Karnal, Bareilly and Jalandhar, and each launch has been a special one. Bringing the radio revolution and making radio a mainstream medium in these towns has been very exciting. Gorakhpur is our fifth destination and we enjoy a monopoly there. We have done the required homework to touch the pulse of the city.”

The launch strategy in Gorakhpur will be supported by road shows in Gorakhpur; to initiate the FM culture, radio sets would be given away. Outdoor, print and branded collaterals such as umbrellas, stepney covers and sun packs will be distributed for the first week after launch to ensure good visibility.
