BIG FM announces two new programming initiatives

BIG FM has announced the launch of two new programming initiatives. While the first initiative intends to provide listeners with a show that will allow them to find an alternative career path, the second will introduce a segment of five back-to-back songs that will be played in the first hour of all shows.

‘Life Ki Dhunaktundhun’, hosted by RJ Chin2, will go on air from May 27 and try to give more information to youngsters about offbeat and alternative career paths. The show will also feature the likes of Sudanshu Pandde, DJ Suketu, Ganesh Hegde and Vishal-Shekhar who will share their experiences about their not so traditional careers.

Commenting on the new show, Manav Dhanda, National Head-Programming, BIG FM, said, “This is an entertaining show about alternative careers -- the first-hand journey of people who have arrived in life, and the advice they can offer to our listeners to help them find their way down alternate career paths.”

Explaining the idea behind the back-to-back music segment, Dhanda elaborated, “We want to make the station a purely entertaining and a musical one. Therefore, along with jock-talks, we aim at providing our listeners wholesome entertainment with melodious music back to back.” With this new segment, listeners can now hear five songs back-to-back every first hour of all shows.
