BIG 92.7 FM to present special programming to celebrate brand ambassador Abhishek’s wedding

BIG 92.7 FM has lined up innovative programme to celebrate the marriage of its brand ambassador Abhishek Bachchan, which is scheduled for April 20. The Bollywood actor will tie the knot with actress Aishwarya Rai.

As the countdown for the wedding begins, each day of the week is packed with interesting programmes and interactivity elements to ensure complete entertainment. Various contests, personal messages and dedications from celebrity friends, families and fans will be aired on BIG 92.7 FM.

With interesting mimicry shows, look-alike contests, predictions by numerologists and astrologers, the station will keep its listeners tuned in throughout the week. The station is also putting together interesting interstitials — a character called Akbar Allahabadi, from Allahabad.

Another initiative is a contest whereby participants are required to participate in a treasure hunt in malls across the country, tracking clues on Abhi-Ash. The winning couple will share hoarding space with Junior Bachchan on billboards.

Manav Dhanda, National Programming Head, BIG 92.7 FM, said, “At BIG FM, we keep innovating newer ways to entertain our audience and provide wholesome entertainment to them. The occasion of the Abhishek-Aishwarya wedding is a big affair on BIG FM, especially given that he is our brand ambassador, in addition to, of course, he being an excellent actor and belonging to the first family of Bollywood. The programming mix is sure to keep our listeners thoroughly entertained and tuned in.”
