Text 100 PR opens office in Chennai

Text 100 Public Relations has opened its fourth Indian office in Chennai as part of its continued investment in the country. This is a strategic development aimed at increasing the agency’s geographic reach across the country, and to address the increasing needs of clients and the growing technology market in Chennai.

Headed by a long-standing Text 100 employee, Joshy Mathews, Text 100 Chennai opened its doors to existing clients including Nokia and Nasscom. With Chennai being named in a recent AT Kearney Study as the most attractive Indian city for offshoring services for its progressive policies, developed infrastructure and vast pool of technical talent, Text 100 is looking forward to tapping into these opportunities.

“Our goal is to continually add value to our clients’ business through our reach, professionalism, methodologies and strong understanding of the market. The Chennai office is one more step toward doing this more effectively. Our existing operations in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore are well established, and Chennai was the next logical step for us in terms of business expansion in India,” said Zacharia James, President, Text 100 India.

“The Chennai office is a significant milestone for Text 100. It will enable us to provide on-the-ground support for our existing clients working in this market. The technology manufacturing, IT and ITES industries are growing rapidly in Chennai and there is a need for experienced PR consultants who can provide high-level strategic consultancy. We are very excited about the opportunities in this market,” said Rishi Seth, Managing Director, Text 100 India.

Text 100 India was recently named among Hewitt’s Best Employers in India, thus becoming the first public relations consultancy to achieve this distinction. Text 100 is celebrating its 25th anniversary worldwide and 10th anniversary in India.
