20:20 MSL, part of MSLGroup, has been appointed as the strategic communications partner for Huawei India. The engagement awarded to 20:20 MSL includes strategic communications advisory to ensure Huawei’s brand positioning within its three established business groups – Networking, Enterprise and Devices, as well as communicate the company’s recently enhanced portfolio.

Commenting on the partnership, Suresh Vaidyanathan, Head - PR & Brand, Huawei India said, “As Huawei has expanded into a full-fledged ICT player, there is a need for the company to communicate all the facets of its ICT offerings to the Indian market. 20:20 MSL delivers world class advisory within strategic communication, while also having a thorough experience and understanding of the ICT sector in India. This means that they really understand our business, our clients and our stakeholders, thereby being a true partner to strengthen our business and our brand in India.”

The nationwide communications efforts will be spearheaded by 20:20 MSL’s NCR office, and supported by seven satellite offices spread across India.

Commenting on the appointment, Amrit Ahuja, Client Engagement Director for 20:20 MSL and Regional Director, B2B & Technology for MSLGroup Asia said, “While we were selected locally in India for our capabilities and expertise in this market, it no doubt allows for better and more seamless advisory as we work with Huawei in several of their key markets. Building on the company’s value propositions, we will strive to make Huawei the first choice for key stakeholders through our insights-driven creative story-telling narratives and our rich legacy of telecom communications in India.”
