Everest Public Relations bags Hyundai Motor India account

Everest Public Relations, an arm of Everest Brand Solutions, has bagged the prestigious Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) PR account following a competitive, multi-agency pitch.

Diwan Arun Nanda, Chairman, Everest Brand Solutions, said, “It is heartening that Everest Public Relations has already begun to make its presence felt in the very first two months of operation. Partnering with a leading and dynamic corporate like Hyundai Motor India is not only exciting, but also challenging; and this is just the kind of start that Everest PR required.”

Speaking on the genesis of starting Everest PR, Nanda said, “Given the opportunities as a result of the tremendous growth in the PR industry, we thought the timing was just apt to launch Everest PR. Lokesh Tiwary, the Group President for PR, is the overall in-charge.”

Everest PR has been mandated to further strengthen the corporate reputation, brand visibility, relevance and expertise of Hyundai Motor India nationally. It will assist the car major – the second largest auto maker in India -- in drawing up a comprehensive strategy for leveraging its position in the automobile market.

Arvind Saxena, HMIL’s VP-Marketing & Sales, said, “Hyundai Motor is at a very exciting stage in India today. We are experiencing tremendous growth which is a true sign of customer confidence. We have big plans in the coming years. In order to strengthen our position further in the Indian market, we need to continuously work on building our corporate reputation while aggressively positioning our products. Everest Public Relations demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of the automobile market and the skills required to address the needs of this high-paced industry in terms of both strategy and deliverables.”

Said Everest PR’s Lokesh Tiwary, “These are exciting times for Everest Public Relations. The agency has found a foothold in this competitive industry in a matter of just a few months and the results are now showing. Full marks to the team!”

He added, “I am fairly confident that given our strengths in brand communication, strategic planning and implementation, we will surely add value to Hyundai and the communication goals that we have set.”
