Source Publishers forays into the beauty sphere with its new magazine ‘New Age Salon’

After successful publishing specialised books and magazines on interiors, Source Publishers have now forayed into the beauty and salon industry with its new bi-monthly magazine ‘New Age Salon’. The magazine focuses on hair, skin and beauty products, as well as therapy and treatments.

’New Age Salon’ is the first of its kind magazine to reach out to all recognised salons in the country plus all beauty conscious readers through sales and subscriptions at various stalls across India. It aims to be the professional salon industry’s most complete connection between salon professionals, salon owners and providers of professional salon services and products.

Commenting on the new magazine, Allen John, Business Manager, Source Publishers, said, “The goal of ‘New Age Salon’ is to enrich that special connection we’ve created among our readers and extend it throughout the entire salon community. To that end, ‘New Age Salon’ will showcase original stories and ideas to help salons grow. We will also launch new resources, services and opportunities throughout the year.”

“Our new concept would be a leader in the market, both in terms of readership and advertising support. ‘New Age Salon’ would reach over 120,000 salon professionals with quality reporting on industry news and trends, along with exclusive step-by-step how-to’s on hair design and other services. Our commitment to and investment in education is why salon professionals would actually pay for a subscription to Modern Hair and Beauty Salon. The base for our new venture is strong in terms of hard core sales and marketing of top international titles to all salons and beauty professionals across India,” John added.

The editorial board of the magazine comprises professionals like Jawed Habib, Blossom Kocchar, Adhuna Akhtar, Savio Periera and Slash. The magazine will be available on the stands for Rs 75.
