Rohit Gandhi resigns as Editor-in-Chief of WION and DNA

Rohit Gandhi has quit as Editor-in-Chief of WION and DNA India. An award winning documentary filmmaker and journalist, Gandhi had joined Zee Media Corporation Limited in August 2015. He also has earlier worked at CBC, PBS and has won several awards for his exemplary work as a journalist, including an Emmy for the war coverage of Afghanistan in 2001.

From 2000-2006, he was Producer/Editor at CNN where he specialised in conflict zone and investigative news coverage. He then joined CBC where he reported and produced news stories from Asia. Here he broke the story about the terrorist group behind the 2006 Mumbai train bombings that killed over 200 people and was also deployed in Pakistan for three months to report a story on the Taliban. 

Before joining Zee Media Corporation Limited in 2015 as Editor of WION and then DNA, Gandhi was with South Asian International News as International Correspondent, Producer and Communication Strategist.
