9X Jalwa goes for a fresh look with 'Forever Young'

9X Media’s Bollywood music channel has donned a fresh new look complemented with refreshed content and a new tagline of ‘Forever Young’. 9X Jalwa presents viewers with a fresh playlist and new on air packaging that will further enhance their television viewing experience.

9X Jalwa’s new tagline 'Forever Young' is targeted at viewers across all age groups who enjoy music that is enduring and forever young. The tagline also reflects the Bollywood playlist and music construct on the channel that is perpetual and never grows old.

Speaking of the new look Imtiaz Baghdadi, Programming Head 9X Jalwa said, "At 9X Jalwa, we pride ourselves in presenting our viewers with the best of Bollywood music across all eras. The new look further fortifies the 9X Media promise of providing the best music viewing experience on television. Along with the new packaging the channel will also introduce Forever Dance, an hourly band dedicated to Bollywood dance numbers."

The show reel on the new look of 9X Jalwa, which was screened at the recently concluded Goafest 2014, has received an encouraging response from the advertising fraternity. The channel hosted a Jalwa themed party with everything Bollywood from the amazing photo ops at the red carpet to live size cut-outs of popular actors; from Bollywood style dance performances to contests around Bollywood. This party was attended by the biggest names from the advertising and media industry.

Amar Tidke, SVP and Content Head 9X Media said, “9X Jalwa has always been a preferred destination for Bollywood music lovers across all age groups. Our expansive library of Hindi film songs spanning all eras and our content curation has struck a chord among the viewers. We have received a positive response from our trade partners on the new look and I am sure that our viewers will also enjoy this music viewing experience!”

Talking to exchange4media about the objective behind the new look, Tidke said, “Since it's launch-9X Jalwa has been extremely popular amongst viewers and the channel has also been witnessing a very encouraging response from younger audiences. Keeping pace with this growing base of viewers we've packaged the channel in a much more contemporary style. The 'forever young' attitude reflects in the music and the overall viewing experience. So we're hoping the new tag line - the new music blocks all work all makes for a 9X Jalwa that will have enthrall music lovers across the nation.”
