9th edition of Indian Magazine Congress kicks off today in Chennai

The 9th edition of the Indian Magazine Congress is being held on February 23rd and February 24th, 2015 in Chennai. The event is held under the aegis of Association of Indian Magazines and is supported by FIPP, the world wide magazine media association. The congress will bring together the entire Indian magazine publishing fraternity including representatives from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Magazine Publishers, Media owners and Advertising agencies all under one roof.

This year’s theme is ‘Magazines 2X: Engage, Connect, Work’. The inaugural keynote speech will be given by D Shivakumar, Chairman & CEO, PepsiCo India. Santosh Desai, MD & CEO, Future Brands will speak on ‘Emerging Consumer Trends and Implications for Magazines’.
