 Jwalant Swaroop appointed as CEO of Sakal Media Group

Jwalant Swaroop has been appointed as the CEO of Sakal Media Group. This was confirmed by Abhijit Pawar, MD, Sakal Media Group as well as Swaroop. He will be heading one of the largest independently owned media businesses in Maharashtra.

Swaroop joins from Oshoyana Consultants where he was the CEO for a period of two and a half years. Prior to this he was the COO at Lokmat Media for more than a year. He has been previously the Director Advertising & Business Development at the same organization for more than seven years. In fact he had climbed up the ladder in Lokmat Media where he worked Group General Manager for three years and prior to that Group Advertisement Manager for close to nine years.

Sakal is a Marathi-language daily newspaper by Sakal Media Group and is the flagship newspaper of the foundation publication.
