The Telegraph adds value; pagination goes up to 52

The Telegraph has recently undertaken a major value addition exercise in Kolkata. The overall pagination has gone up to 52 pages on most days of the week.
With the cover price unchanged, the additions have pushed up the value proposition for the Telegraph readers. Speaking on this occasion, Dhruba Mukherjee, Associate Vice President, The Telegraph, said “In this dynamic and complex world our reader's infotainment requirement is going up significantly. The Telegraph is committed to serving the needs of its readers and has added value to its content.”
The value addition has taken place in two stages. Stage one involved an addition of four pages in the news section. The pages were added to the product starting from December 1, 2010. Stage two involved significant value addition to T2, the entertainment and lifestyle tabloid distributed free with The Telegraph (Monday to Saturday), which now has an assured pagination of 24 pages from January 1, 2010.
“We are doing an integrated communication exercise to make readers aware of these developments. The B2C communication has been rolled out in form of print, out of home, radio, TVCs and on ground promotion. For B2B we are taking industry web sites and industry magazines,” Mukherjee added.
