Sunil Gautam, Chairman, Hanmer MSL steps down

Effective from February 28, 2011, Sunil Gautam, Chairman, Hanmer MSL, is stepping down from his current role. Gautam had founded Hanmer & Partners in 1999, which joined Publicis Groupe in November 2007. Moving forward, he will continue to play a role as the Founder of Hanmer MSL, but in an unofficial capacity.

Responsibilities of the Chairman’s role will be transitioned to Jaideep Shergill, CEO, Hanmer MSL, who took on leadership of the firm from March 2010. This move was implemented as part of a long-term management transition plan for Hanmer MSL India.

Glenn Osaki, President, MSLGroup Asia and Chair, MSLGroup India Management Board, said, “I’d like to thank Sunil for his hard work and dedication over the years. A pioneer of the communications industry in India, Sunil’s legacy will forever be part of our agency. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours and are grateful that we will continue to have his support.”
