Vivek Gaur quits India Today, joins HT as Business Head for North-East

Vivek Gaur, Executive Director, India Today Group, has quit and joined Hindustan Times. Confirming the news to exchange4media, Gaur said that he joined HT on December 21, 2009 as Business Head for the North-East region and would be reporting to Rajeev Verma, CEO, HT Media.

An alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering, Gaur has worked with several leading companies, including Tata Motors. After completing his PGDM from IIM Lucknow, he worked with Hindustan Unilever and other food category brands. During his professional career, Gaur has won several enterprise awards. Later on, he moved to the Living Media group and also started his Media Mart and Direct Selling business.
