V Chandrasekaar Barathi, Sr VP, Zee South Syndication, puts in his papers

It is learnt from sources close to the development that V Chandrasekaar Barathi (Chandru), Senior VP, Zee South Syndication, has put in his papers. Chandru was earlier Business Head of Zee Tamil and had taken his new responsibility in July this year. He has been with the company for around two years now.

Prior to Zee Tamil, he was Vice President (Content & Strategy) at MAA TV. It is not known where Barathi is slated to join next.

Zee South had recently revamped its management with the aim of bringing greater focus and growth in the South channels of Zee. This is when Sanjay Reddy was made COO of Zee South, however, Reddy resigned a few months later to join the Sun TV Network. Following this line of management revamp was Chandru’s new role.
