Surya Soni joins Zenith Optimedia as Business Director

After a two-and-half years stint with NIIT, Surya Soni has put in his papers and joined Zenith Optimedia as Business Director on Nokia. At NIIT, Soni was the manager—media and research.

Asked on the his job profile, he said, “I have to take care of the Nokia business.” On the challenges ahead, he said, “The telecom segment is really booming and Nokia has always been the market leader. My responsibility would be to carry forward their leadership position.”

On his experience at NIIT, he said, “It was a good experience for me. I got to know how the business actually operates. I am sure the learning experience would come handy while handling the Nokia business.”

Soni has previously worked with HTA, Madison and McCann Erickson.
