Showdiff appoints Kiran Advani as President Events

The Event Management arm of Rediffusion DY&R, Showdiff has decided to play in an aggressive mode in 2005. With Arun Nanda and Ravi Shastri as Members of the Board, the agency has placed Conrad Saldanha as the Advisor. Saldanha has been in office since January 2005 and the first senior management appointment comes in the form of Kiran Advani who joins as President, Events.

Confirming this, Arun Nanda shares, “Kiran has earned a credible name for herself after the several years she has spent in the industry. She would be looking after all the events that Showdiff has worked on and would be reporting to the board.” He shares that her experience includes handling the advertising department at The Times of India, where she worked under Pradeep Guha. Following which, she consulted with Wizcraft and was involved in several other assignments on her own.

Saldanha shares that 2005 means acceleration in the pace of work for Showdiff. Says he, “We are going to be more aggressive in the year. The different divisions that we are in, that includes segments like endorsements and celebrity management will also see more action.”

At Showdiff, where Advani has been roped in for the Events division, her responsibility would be slightly different from what she has been largely involved in, so far. Showdiff events include music shows, film shows, concerts Like the Shah Rukh Khan, MLTR and Bryan Adams concerts in Sri Lanka, sports awards and so on.
