Sanjay Reddy joins Zee Telugu as CEO

Zee Telugu has appointed Sanjay Reddy as CEO. He replaces Rasool Ali who had quit as Business Head recently. Reddy will be taking a 360-degree control of the first vernacular TV channel of Zee Network in South India.

Before joining Zee Telugu, Reddy was CEO of Pearl Media, which is an arm of Century Communications Ltd, an integrated media and entertainment company. Century Communications plays a crucial role in the acquisition of sponsored category programmes, airtime sales and content creation for Sun Network which included Sun, Gemini, Udaya and Surya, in addition to executing mobile-based revenue plans in conjunction with various telecom operators.

Reddy holds an MBA from the University of Pune and has a vast experience in electronic media, having held significant responsibilities in the areas of advertising sales and marketing. He has worked with many reputed media houses like Walt Disney Company (India) Pvt. Ltd, SET India Pvt. Ltd and ESPN Software India Pvt. Ltd.
