Sanjay Reddy, COO, Zee South, quits

It is known from sources close to the development that Sanjay Reddy, Chief Operations Officer for Zee South channels, has put in his papers. Reddy was elevated to his current position in July 2009. As COO, Zee South, he was looking after Zee Telugu, Zee Tamil, Zee Kannada and Zee 24 Gantalu. It is not known where Reddy is headed next.

Reddy had joined Zee two years back as Business Head for Zee Telugu. Prior to joining Zee Telugu, he was CEO of Pearl Media, which is an arm of Century Communications Ltd, an integrated media and entertainment company. He has also worked with media houses, including Walt Disney Company (India) Pvt Ltd, SET India Pvt Ltd and ESPN Software India Pvt Ltd.
