Ritu Raizada joins Nestle as Media Manager, leaving Yum! International

Ritu Raizada has joined Nestle India as Media Manager and would be heading the media services functions of the company. She was earlier with Yum! International, which runs the Pizza Hut and KFC chains, as Market Development Manager for India and the Subcontinent.

Raizada replaces Roy Cherian who has moved to the marketing wing as Manager, Marketing Operations.

Prior to Yum!, where she spent three years, Raizada was with HTA for 10 years, and before that with O&M for two years. At Nestle, she will be responsible for the entire media spend of the company.

However, Universal McCann is the media agency for Nestle India. Interestingly, Switzerland-headquartered Nestle SA split its $ 1.6-billion global media planning and buying account between Publicis Group’s ZenithOptimedia and WPP's GroupM, dropping long-time agency Universal McCann.
