Rediffusion Y&R ropes in Ramswaroop Gopalan as National Business Head- Digital

Strengthening its digital offering, Rediffusion Y&R has roped in Ramswaroop Gopalan as Business Head - Digital Services. He will partner with Karl Gomes, National Creative Director – Digital. Based out of New Delhi, Gopalan will report to Wasim Basir, Executive Vice President, Rediffusion Y&R.

On his appointment, Gopalan said, “I am fascinated by Rediffusion’s vision of creating a sea change in the way advertising and communication is looked at. Digital will be a key player in that vision and I am happy that my experience and background will contribute to this vision.”

On the decision of bringing in Gopalan, Basir said, “Ram brings with him a unique blend of Brand + Tech, something that is not only extremely rare but also a great asset to our team as we try and build brand seamlessly across real world and digital platforms. Having worked with Ram, I can confidently say he is a delight to work with and will surely add to the fun quotient at Rediffusion Y&R. We are lucky to have him on board and in such a critical role.”

Gopalan comes on board from Tangerine Digital Entertainment where he was Head of Delivery and part of the Leadership team. He brings with him 14 years of experience in industries like media and entertainment, advertising, internet and information technology. His industry expertise also lies in lead strategy, planning, solutions design along with the implementation and delivery of large-scale ITES engagements in the telecom sector.
