Rajiv Singh moves from Times Response to Khaleej Times as AVP, Marketing

After a brief stint with The Times of India Group, Rajiv Singh has joined Khaleej Times, Dubai, as Assistant Vice President - Marketing. Besides being part of the core marketing team, he will look after marketing for the newspaper's magazine section called Weekend.

Speaking to exchange4media, Singh said, "My focus area is marketing the Weekend magazine in the Gulf region. Additionally, I am also part of the core marketing team, which assists the corporate office in terms of creating marketing strategies and taking the whole process forward."

During his nine months at Times Response, Singh was heading the special projects division in Delhi as General Manager, handling travel category as a specific segment.

Interestingly, he started his career in 1986 with The Times of India and worked there for 10 years. He then moved on to join Dainik Bhaskar in 1996. Four years later he joined Hindustan Times and was with them till 2003. He next joined Amar Ujala as VP-Marketing. A year and a half year later he moved to Times Response.
