Rajesh Menon to join Deccan Chronicle Holdings arm, Sieger Solutions, as Branch Manager

Sieger Solutions Ltd has roped in Rajesh Menon as Branch Manager for its Chennai operations. Sieger Solutions is a fully-owned subsidiary of Deccan Chronicle Holdings, which was launched in September this year to take care of marketing, sales and 360-degree activities for the Group.

Menon would be joining the organisation from mid-January next year and would report to Varun Kohli, VP-Revenue (All India), Sieger Solutions. Commenting on Menon’s appointment, Debraj Tripathy, CEO, Sieger Solutions, said, “Chennai is a very important market for us. We needed someone who could build on the success of Deccan Chronicle’s Chennai edition. In Rajesh, we found the right mix of leadership and experience to lead the branch. We are extremely happy to have him on board.”

Menon moves to Sieger from HT Media, where he was Senior Branch Manager in charge of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. He was associated with the company for five and a half years.

Speaking on his appointment, Menon said, “It’s a aggressive brand to be associated with. Working with such a company will be a great learning experience.”

Menon’s main responsibility would be to garner more revenues. A Post Graduate in marketing and advertising, Menon has over 11 years’ experience in media sales. He has worked across organisations like the Indian Express, Business Standard, Dainik Bhaskar, besides Hindustan Times.
