Rahul Saighal bids adieu to Samsung, turns entrepreneur

Rahul Saighal has moved on from his role as Group Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung India to turn entrepreneur with NetImpact Solutions. Saighal concluded his stint with Samsung Electronics over a month ago.

Exclusively confirming the news to exchange4media, Saighal said, “I confirm that I have moved on after an exciting stint with Samsung (as Group CMO) to set up my own internet marketing company, NetImpact Solutions. I want to build on my expertise in the internet space and catalyse further its penetration and disruption in India. It was an exciting journey to support Samsung in its becoming India’s leading technology brand.”

Saighal’s entrepreneurial venture, NetImpact Solutions, is an Internet technology marketing company, which leverages his experience with Samsung as well as Aircel.

He was earlier with Aircel for over four years, where he was part of the leadership team as Chief Marketing Officer. He had helped position Aircel as the modern face of Indian telecom as a VAS and data player, with its successful positioning with pocket internet mix, which gave it an edge in a cluttered market.

Prior to Aircel, Saighal was with Unilever in various roles for over 12 years.
