Radio Indigo appoints Carl Avari as Vice President - Operations

Radio Indigo has appointed a new team of executives in Bangalore. Carl Avari has been appointed as Vice-President - Operations of Radio Indigo. Also among the newly appointed is Stanley Simon, who would undertake all marketing activities in the station. Avari will oversee operations in Bangalore as well as Goa, whereas Simon will oversee marketing for both stations.

Radio Indigo, which recently celebrated its third anniversary in the city, also operates in Goa. The channel today boasts of being the only international hit radio station in Bangalore.

A highly successful professional in the media industry, Avari was handling key roles in BAG Networks as Assistant Vice President of South and Western regions and managed E24, News24 channels and Dhamaal radio station. Before joining BAG Networks, he undertook the role of Assistant Vice President - Activation at Radio City in Mumbai. Besides these, Avari has been associated with organisations like India Today, Go FM in Goa, Indian Express and Cyber Media.

Simon has been associated in the fields of media and hospitality for the past eight years in Switzerland, the Middle-East and India. He is a communication specialist in the fields of executive communication and emotional intelligence.

Commenting on the new appointments, Sanjay Prabhu, MD, Radio Indigo, said, “Carl’s and Stanley’s appointments bring enormous skill and experience to the channel and herald the beginning of many successful years.”
