Praveen Sharma COO Madison Plus quits; Ashish Singru from Microsoft replaces him

In a high profile account movement, Praveen Sharma, COO, Madison Media Plus, has moved on. His duties have been taken over by Ashish Singru, from Microsoft, USA. Sharma had led the Bharti Group of businesses, which will now be handled by Singru.

Commenting on Sharma’s departure from the Madison family, Mr. Sam Balsara, Chairman & Managing Director, Madison World, said, “He did a terrific job for us in leading one of our largest businesses and I respect his decision to now move from a media agency function. I wish him all success in future.”

Taking Perry’s place at Madison will be Mr. Ashish Singru, with his 14 years of experience in marketing, media and analytics..

Ms. Punitha Arumugam, CEO, Madison Media Group, said “I am delighted to have Ashish in my team and I am sure he will bring fresh thinking and fresh approach based on his experience in US, which will help us take Airtel to the next level of success.”

Ashish’s last assignment was with Microsoft at Redmond, where he spent 6 years at Corporate Marketing Group looking after Strategic Media Planning, Campaign Evaluation and Business Analytics
