New Dentsu Media Palette appoints Takashi Koyanagi as EVP

Dentsu Media Palette has announced the appointment of Takashi Koyanagi as Executive Vice-president. Koyanagi is on secondment from Dentsu Inc, Tokyo. He will be based at New Delhi and report to Sharat Jain, CEO, Dentsu Media Palette.

Koyanagi has 12 years’ experience in media with Dentsu Inc and has handled global blue chip clients like Toyota and Kao in Japan. He is a specialist in strategic media planning and is an expert in Dentsu’s proprietary tools like ContactPoint Management.

Welcoming Koyanagi to Dentsu Media Palette, Sharat Jain said, “Koyanagi san will be responsible for launching Dentsu’s proprietary strategic planning tools and processes in India and will be a senior member of the Dentsu Media Palette team. Koyanagi san’s presence will help us implement Dentsu’s media best practices in the shortest possible time for the benefit of our clients.”

“Koyanagi san is well versed in the latest global media trends. We shall be gaining a lot from his experience set in many of our future endeavours in Dentsu’s India operations,” added Sandeep Goyal, Chairman, Dentsu India.
