Mindshare’s Krishna Kumar to head Media2win, online media planning/buying venture of contests2win group

Krishna Kumar of Mindshare has joined as CEO of Media2win, the new venture from the contests2win group. Media2win, which started operations yesterday, is an online and wireless media planning and buying services company which will offer its clients end-to-end new media solutions.

Kumar, popularly known as KK, is a media veteran of 10 years’ standing with wide experience in media planning and buying. He was Business Director with GroupM’s Mindshare and has been credited with creating innovative media solutions for his clients.

contests2win and its group company mobile2win work extensively in the Internet and wireless space, and media2win will be the group's third venture.

Said Alok Kejriwal, CEO, contests2win, “Internet and wireless media have now matured significantly in India and it’s time that specialists began operating in this space in collaboration with clients, agencies and media buyers to first discover and then deliver value in these new mediums which is measurable and tangible.”

Commenting on his new assignment, KK said, “c2w and m2w are successful companies with fantastic credentials in the Internet and wireless space. After having spent a decade in the media planning industry, this opportunity was the right challenge for me to leverage my skills and make this another successful venture.”
