Media E2E appoints Myleeta Aga as Head of Content and Co-founder

On the back of expansion in product offering and new forays into programming, Media E2E has appointed Myleeta Aga as Head of Content and Co-founder. As Head of Content, Aga will enrich existing product features for MediaE2E as well as develop new programming outlets and creative strategies for expansion.

On her new role, Aga said, “The Indian media space is witnessing an unprecedented expansion, and there is tremendous opportunity for the development and delivery of innovative, enriching media solutions. I am looking forward to this experience.”

Aga has 15 years of international experience in creating hit television programmes and building winning teams. Most recently at Travel Channel, USA, she was nominated for an Emmy as Executive Producer for ‘Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations’, Travel Channel’s most successful series to date that airs in over 50 countries.

Aga was also with Discovery Communications, where she managed the launch and customisation of global promotables like ‘Walking with Dinosaurs’, ‘Living with Tigers’ and ‘Space Blast’, and was part of the executive team that researched the feasibility and proposed launch plans for a host of lifestyle channels across the globe. At GAPC Entertainment in London, she set up animation and Internet based business opportunities for her Canadian partners prior to leading production on Indonesia’s top rated format series, based out of Pearson Television’s office in Jakarta.

Aga began her career in television with UTV in Mumbai, and subsequently set up Singapore’s first independent production studio where she ran operations, business development and production for UTV International.

MediaE2E is a media services company specialising in television broadcast guidance started by Atul Phadnis. MediaE2E’s EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) is India’s largest multi-platform, multi-device consumer search and guidance service for television content. Its enrichment and transformation makes this information seamlessly reach consumers through set-top boxes, online and mobile.
