Kings XI Punjab set to rope in Anil Srivatsa as CEO

Kings XI Punjab is all set to get a new CEO. The Mohali-based IPL franchise is reportedly in the process of finalising Anil Srivatsa as CEO. A decision in this regard is expected to be taken this week. The Kings XI Punjab CEO will be reporting to the Board of Directors.

While Srivatsa was unavailable for comments at the time of filing this report, Mohit Burman, co-owner of Kings XI Punjab, told exchange4media, “We are in the final rounds of confirming a new CEO for Kings XI Punjab and will be making a formal announcement this week.” Earlier, Neil Maxwell was the CEO of the cricket franchise.

It may be recalled that Srivatsa had put in his papers at Radio Today as COO in June 2009 after nearly three years with the company. He was EVP Distribution, New Business Development at ImaginAsian Entertainment Inc from August 2003 to August 2006.
