Kaushik Tiwari joins Publicis Ambience as EVP South

Kaushik Tiwari, who was heading Rediffusion DY&R’s South operations, has joined Publicis Ambience as Executive Vice-President, South.

Tiwari’s career spans 15 years and includes noteworthy stints with Rediffusion DY&R, Grey Worldwide and RK Swamy. He has worked on an extensive portfolio of brands, including Citibank, ING Vysya, Medimix, Cuticura and Kinetic two-wheeler brands.

Tiwari, an engineer and MBA by qualification, has also made a mark in the international field as Asia Pacific Account Director for Saralee brands Kiwi and Kiwi Kleen.

Commenting on Tiwari’s appointment, Aniruddha Banerjee, President and COO, Publicis Ambience, said, “Entering the South is a critical strategic piece for us, therefore, hiring the right leader was paramount. In Kaushik, we have found a real gem – he knows the terrain, he knows the business, what more could we ask.”

“What excited me most about taking up the assignment was the uniqueness in thinking both strategically and creative,” explained Tiwari. “The rapidly evolving businesses in the South have a pressing need for freshness in their brand communication. From this point of view, I think the timing of starting South operations is just right as the agency has a lot of freshness to offer. I am thrilled and looking forward to doing some exciting work with an agency of which I have been an admirer for sometime now,” he added.
