Lintas Media Group (LMG) has announced senior management changes. NP Sathyamurthy has been promoted to President and COO, and would be in charge of the Group’s Western Region operations and the Digital Collaborative. Sudha Natarajan takes over as President and COO, in charge of the Group’s Northern operations in addition to its Southern operations. She will be relocating to Delhi. Amit Ray will join the Group as President with specific charge of the ITC Collective and the Kolkata Collective.

Lynn de Souza, Chairperson and CEO, Lintas Media Group, said, “Sathya and Sudha have been instrumental and played a significant role in the success of Lintas Media Group over the last few years. Both are experienced and seasoned team players. The Group has immensely benefited from their experience and was able to win new business worth over Rs 483 crore in 2008 with significant contributions from them. Their brand management knowledge and experience are going to be crucial in the future growth of LMG.”

Announcing the appointment of Ray as the President, de Souza added, “Amit is media veteran and one of the best strategic minds in the business. We are delighted to have Amit on the board. He will be in charge of the ITC Collective and the Kolkata Collective. We are sure that with his experience and knowledge, the ITC Collective will grow even further.”

Earlier, Ray was heading Mudra’s OMS before moving on to Percept and BAG Films. He will be based in Kolkata and will come on board in February.

Premjeet Sodhi, Chief Planning Officer, will now focus fully on planning, leading the Planning Sciences Collaborative, based in Delhi, and work as a partner to Natrajan for all the new business initiatives, and existing client relationships in Delhi.

On the new team, de Souza said, “Sathya did a commendable role in leading all the Mumbai based collectives and the Digital collaborative in 2008. Under his inspiring leadership, the Group achieved unprecedented new business gains, and delivery of excellent output on all existing client relationships, including Idea Cellular, the Bajaj group, the financial collective, all the clients in the Mumbai Collective, and with Pinstorm.”

“Sudha will take on the tremendous challenges that lay in the Delhi market, while continuing to lead the Bangalore and Chennai collectives. She has led the ITC account for several years and has been responsible for its growth into one of the largest clients of the Group,” de Souza added.
