Future Media India Ltd, the media company from the Future Group, which operates multiple media vehicles in the ‘ambience of consumption’ domain, has announced the appointment of Pradeep Guha on the Board of Directors of the company. Guha, CEO, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) and former President of The Times of India Group, joins the Future Media board which includes Kishore Biyani, Sanjeev Agrawal, Sameer Sain, KK Rathi and Vikram Sakhuja. Guha is also associated with many bodies in the field of advertising, marketing and publishing.

The company has also announced the appointment of Nikhil Sheth as National Sales Director. Prior to joining Future Media, Sheth was Network Head at National Geographic Channel Network, where he was handling Business and Sales Strategy for the National Geographic Channel and The History Channel. Having worked with NGC since August 2004 where he joined as Regional Head (West), Sheth became the National Head – NGC in Jan 2006, and then the Network Head in July 2006.

Speaking on the developments, Partho Dasgupta, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Future Media, said, “We are delighted to have Pradeep on our Board of Directors. His vast media experience will augment the shaping of the nascent industry of media in the ambience of consumption. And Nikhil’s appointment as our National Sales Director further strengthens our team. We are sure his leadership style will give a new dimension to the company’s revenue management.”

Future Media, headquartered in Mumbai, has offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune. It is Future Group’s media venture, aimed at creation of media properties in the ambience of consumption, and offers active engagement to brands and consumers. The company offers relevant engagement through its media properties like Future Visual Spaces and Future Activation (creating media trends with innovative campaigns), Future Print (My World – a monthly magazine for women consumers), Future Radio (the in-store radio network), Future TV (the in-store TV network) and Future Theatre (media rights across select multiplexes).
