Maytas Properties has announced the appointment of Maxus as its media planning and buying agency. The decision was taken after talks with multiple agencies. Maxus Mumbai would be handling the account under the stewardship of Kartik Sharma, GM, Maxus. As is known, Maytus, which is a part of the Satyam Group, has just completed its Initial Public Offer (IPO).

The activities will initially begin in the southern markets, and then move pan-India. Informed sources divulge that the account size is expected to be very significant in nature, given the action that is taking place in the real estate domain. It may be recalled that Tata Housing, too, has recently shown indications of becoming very active in their marketing.

Said Sharma, “Maxus is delighted to have Maytas Properties on board and share our expertise on media planning and buying to an upcoming sector like realty. We obviously look forward to partnering the business and provide 360 media solutions.”

Maxus Mumbai also handles clients such as Vodafone, Tata Sky, Tata Motors, Bajaj Allianz Insurance, IDBI, Franklin Templeton and Shopper’s Stop.
