Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages appoints Rohit Gothi as Exec Director – Market Ops

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCBPL), the company-owned bottling operations of The Coca-Cola Company in India, has brought on board Rohit Gothi as its Executive Director – Market Operations. Gothi will directly oversee all field operations of the company, encompassing all front-end operations, including the seven Operating Zones, Alternative Engines of Growth (Bottom of Pyramid, Online and Alternative Beverages), and National Key Accounts (excluding bulk water).

Commenting on the appointment, T Krishnakumar, Chief Executive Officer Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages said, “Rohit Gothi has been inducted into the HCCBPL talent pool to strengthen the sales system and accelerate growth opportunities in India. As Executive Director – Marketing Operations, Rohit will be responsible for all the front-end operations and focus on building profitable revenue growth. He comes with over 20 years of experience in the FMCG industry, covering various categories of consumer products, besides a stint in the telecom industry.”

Gothi will assume the new responsibility effective July 15, 2014 and will report to T Krishnakumar.

Over the last few years, HCCBPL, the largest bottling operations of the Coca-Cola system in India, has made exponential progress in establishing multiple selling and distribution systems to offer the consumers a range of its products at multiple price points for all occasions. In this growth journey, HCCBPL has simultaneously worked towards developing a strong supply chain and manufacturing organisation.

As part of the vision 2020 for India, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages is focusing on becoming a world class organisation, building a culture of execution excellence and driving returns. Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages is estimated to contribute up to 65 per cent of the volumes to The Coca-Cola Company in India.
