DNA strengthens Pune Ad Sales team as two more TOI response hands join in

After finally getting Gautam Adhikari as the Chief Editor things seem to be falling in place now for DNA on the manpower side. Having poached two senior hands from TOI Bangalore to set up their southern marketing/ad sales team, DNA have now poached once again from TOI Response to set up its Pune infrastructure.

After getting TOI’s Pune Branch Head Pramod Dabke on board, as part of the latest developments, DNA has made two senior-level appointments for its Pune Ad sales operations. The soon to be launched daily has appointed, TOI Response’s Senior Manager Anand Kansal as the Chief Manager. Kansal moves on from TOI after having spent 14 years with the paper. And giving him company will be Sameer Rajore who was the Deputy Manager and had served nine years in TOI. He is slated to join in as Manager at DNA’s Pune Ad Sales.

On Mumbai front, the latest information states that Santosh Menezes, who was handling Special Projects, Classified and Appointment in TOI, has joined DNA’s Mumbai Ad Sales office as Chief Manager.

It is learnt that TOI is filling in the vacancies by taking in people from Navabharat, Lokmat, Loksatta and other language publications. The rule you take from me and I shall from some one else persist and as the launch date of DNA and HT draw nearer, the action seems to be speeding up.
