Delhi Press’ Dinesh Srivastava joins ‘Eastern Panorama’ as VP, Marketing

Dinesh K Srivastava, formerly with Delhi Press, has joined ‘Eastern Panorama’, an English language socio-political general interest monthly magazine published from Shillong, as Vice President, Marketing. Srivastava will be reporting to Group Chairman KK Jhunjhunwala. It may be recalled that Srivastava had moved out of Delhi Press in January 2010 after spending 28 years with the group.

Speaking on his new role, Srivastava said, “Being well aware of the industry, I have plans in mind for the growth of the company and to make the group more aggressive and reader friendly. We would like to reach out to the readers every fortnight with good stuff, instead of once a month.”

Srivastava will be based in Delhi as the central marketing operation of the magazine has been shifted from Shillong to Delhi. “It will make the group operation more effective all over India,” he explained.

‘Eastern Panorama’ is an INS publication and claims to have a print run of 85,000. The magazine has been covering the entire North Eastern region for the last 17 years. It was stared in April 1992 by Dr KK Jhunjhunwala, a renowned scholar, as the first full-fledged news magazine of the North East with an initial print run of over 5,000 copies per month.
