Bharat Ranga appointed business head of Zee Cinema and PAC channels

Zee Network has announced the appointment of Bharat Ranga as the Business Head of Zee Cinema, Zee Music, Premier Cinema, Action Cinema and Classic Cinema.

Ranga joined Zee Telefilms in March1998. Initially, he was handling the sales and marketing of Zee Records. In 1999-2000, Ranga was instrumental in organising Zee Cine Awards. During that time he also handled the film and music advertising exposure business for the entire network. In 2002, he took over as the head of ad sales of Zee Cinema and Zee Music.

Ranga is a postgraduate in business management from the University of Ajmer. Prior to joining Zee, he had worked with The Times of India and after that served Usha International as Regional Sales Manager.

However, Yogesh Radhakrishnan, erstwhile Business Head of Zee Cinema, said that he was very much at the helm of things at the network. “I will continue at Zee as Director (Special Projects) wherein I would oversee the international assignments. Ranga’s appointment has been slated for a while now and I am sure that he will do full justice to the job at hand,” added Radhakrishnan.
