ABP Group ropes in Kaushik Ghosh as VP, Bengali Magazines

ABP Group has brought on board Kaushik Ghosh as Vice President, Bengali Magazines. In this role, Ghosh will look after the entire portfolio of the Group’s Bengali magazines. He will be reporting to DD Purkayastha, MD and CEO, ABP Group.

Confirming the news to exchange4media, Purkayastha said, “Kaushik comes with long experience in media sales and marketing. He will be an important resource to help drive ABP’s aggressive growth plan. He has joined as VP, Bengali Magazines from today.”

Ghosh joins the network with experience spanning over 19 years in sales, marketing and regulatory across various industries. His last appointment was with Times Television Network, where he was Business Head – ET Now and Times Now.

Prior to joining Times Television Network, he was associated with STAR India as Cluster Head, Ad Sales, for their regional channels – Star Pravah, Star Jalsha and Jalsha Movies. Previously, he has worked with ENIL (Radio Mirchi), where his last assignment was as EVP and National Sales Head. He had worked with HCL Frontline and Asian Paints prior to ENIL.

ABP’s magazine portfolio includes Unish Kuri, Anandalok, Anandamela, Desh and Sananda.
