Purple Focus ropes in P Murali Gopal as ECD

P Murali Gopal has been appointed as Executive Creative Director at Purple Focus Delhi. He will be in charge of building and strengthening the creative team and product of Purple Focus, partnering with rest of the creative team.

Prior to Purple Focus, Murali was with Wunderman International as Creative Director. He brings in a total of 20 years of experience across advertising, direct marketing, and more recently digital.

Confirming Murali’s appointment, Rahul Vaidya, Director, Purple Focus, said, “I’m really happy to have Murali on board. With his enthusiasm and passion for excellence in creative, I am sure the organisation will reach newer echelons.”

Arvind Pal Singh aka ‘Candy’, National Creative Director, Purple Focus, added here, “I am delighted that Murali has joined the Purple Focus team. I am sure his indepth experience in all mediums of advertising, the ability to analyse market situation and craft communication strategies will be a real value addition to the organisation.”

Speaking on his new role, Murali said, “The thing that impresses me most about Purple Focus is the consistency with which it has been creating innovative and effective advertising in recent years. I am looking forward to some exceptional work coming out of Purple Focus as I join the bunch of out-of-box thinkers.”

Murali has earlier worked with Clarion Bates, Publicis, Rediffusion Y&R and Caffeine Digital, where he had contributed on clients like Hero Honda, Citibank, Microsoft, TimesJobs, Air Hostess Academy, and Essar, among others.
