Ganesh Bhagwat back in LiveMedia as VP - West & South

LiveMedia, India’s largest digital out-of-home media company, has announced the appointment of Ganesh Bhagwat as Vice President (West and South). He will be based in Mumbai and spearhead the company’s efforts to further consolidate its position and revenues in the Western and Southern regions.

Commenting on Bhagwat’s appointment, Rajan Mehta, Founder and CEO, LiveMedia, said, “This is Ganesh’s second stint with us and we are very pleased to have him back. He fills an important role and will steer the company’s growth in the coming years. His understanding of the changing consumer lifestyles and their media consumption habits, coupled with an understanding of the needs and aspirations of brands and marketers, would help us provide better value to our advertisers.”

On his new role, Bhagwat said, “I am very excited to return to LiveMedia, which has established a leadership position for itself in this growing industry. We have a superb network and my focus would be to work with clients such that they can draw maximum value out of their media spends.”

Bhagwat has spent over 16 years in the media industry and brings with him a unique combination of experience spanning print, radio, digital and TV with companies like Mid-Day, Walt Disney, Radio City, and Rediff.

LiveMedia is a four-year old digital out-of-home media company funded by DFJ and Bay Partners out of Silicon Valley and also Samsung out of Korea. It is touted as the largest player in the ‘Destination Media’ space.
