UPSRTC invites tender for 8000 buses

The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC), a UP Government undertaking, with a fleet of over 8000 ordinary, premium and air-conditioned buses and 243 bus stations across the state, has invited expressions of interest (EoIs) from advertising agencies for empanelment. The empanelled agencies shall be responsible for the publicity of the corporation through display of advertisements.

To be eligible for empanelment, the applicant agencies should be accredited to the Indian Newspaper Society (INS) and should have their head office with complete infrastructure in Lucknow. The agencies should have achieved an annual turnover of at least Rs. 5 crore during the last financial year. Relevant documents to this effect will have to be submitted along with the offers.

Additionally, the agencies shall be required to submit their balance sheets and income tax certificates for the last three years along with the application.

The applicants shall be required to submit the EMD of Rs. 50,000 through a demand draft favouring Secretary, UPSRTC, payable at Lucknow along with the application.

Interested agencies can submit their offers along with their complete profile to the office of the Managing Director, UPSRTC, Parivahan Bhavan, Tihri Kothi, Lucknow, up to 4pm on October 25, 2010.
