Nagpur Municipal Corp invites bids for ad rights at Yashwant Stadium

The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has invited bids under the ‘two packet’ system for licensing out ad rights of advertisement boards placed on the parapet wall of Yashwant Stadium, Dhantoli. The contract shall be awarded for a period of three years; initially for one year, then extendable for the next two years. The EMD required for this tender is Rs 35,000.

The total ad space being offered by NMC for 33 advertisement boards is approximately 950.40 sq. m. Successful bidders will have to construct and erect advertisement boards on proposed sites as per the approved structural design by the NMC.

The Corporation has fixed an amount of Rs 35 lakh as offset price for the 33 advertisement boards, excluding the license fee. This offset price is based on NMC’s own survey and in-house data. Further, the bidders shall be required to quote the ground rent for one year only on the offset value.

Applicants shall be required to submit the EMD of Rs 35,000 through demand draft or pay order from any nationalised or scheduled bank favouring the Estate Officer, NMC, Nagpur. The demand drafts should be payable at Nagpur only.

Tender documents costing Rs 2,200 can be obtained from the NMC office up to 1.30 pm on August 17, 2010. The tender documents can also be downloaded from the website.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 1 pm on August 17, 2010 in the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Civil Lines, Nagpur. Bidders can submit their queries in writing to the Estate Officer, NMC, before the meeting.

Completed technical bids will have to be submitted to the Estate Officer, Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur, latest by 3 pm on August 23, 2010, whereas the financial bid will have to be submitted online. The technical bids will be opened the same day at 4 pm.
